Pieter-Jan Verhoyen is a Flemish pianist, harpsichordist and fortepianist. His passion for Flemish repertoire can be seen both in his concert performances and his cd recordings. He regularly works with renowned orchestras like Anima Eterna Brugge, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, B’Rock, the Belgian National Orchestra and Collegium Vocale Ghent. Pieter-Jan is the pianist of the Ryelandt Trio, a chamber music ensemble specialising in discovering Flemish Repertoire from the romantic period to the present day. As a piano and harpsichord accompanist he works for the the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, International Flute Seminar Bruges, the Dutch International Flute Competition, the National Flute Association (USA), Vlamo Virtuoso and STAP Roeselare and collaborates in international masterclasses and competitions. He has made numerous recordings, many of which focus on the repertoire of Joseph Ryelandt and other Flemish composers.
